Beyonce's Baby Talk

Beyonce's Baby Talk
Despite being the subject of constant false baby rumors, Beyonce doesn't duck the question of offspring when it's brought up. Discussing her personal life with talk show host Piers Morgan, Bey says that she could be birthing a little Jigga-yonce sooner than fans think.
"I always said I'd have a baby at 30," she said. "I'm 29. But I also said I was going to retire at 30. I'm not retiring...Only God knows [when]...I feel like 30 is the ideal age, because you're mature enough to know who you are and have your boundaries and your standards and not be afraid or too polite, but young enough to be a young woman. I'm so looking forward to it."

Beyonce On Glastonbury

Beyonce On Glastonbury:
Glastonbury is one of the U.K.'s most celebrated musical festivals. While the venue became famous for alternative rock acts in the 1990s, in recent years, more rap and R&B have taken over the bill. Jay-Z famously played the festival in 2009 and this year, his wife Beyonce gave a dazzling performance for 175,000 in attendance.
"I’m feeling so good," Beyonce said after the show. "I’m completely high. It’s so surreal of what just happened and I wasn’t kidding when I said, “This night was a dream.” I felt like a rock star and the crowd looked like rock stars. I’m just so honored really; this is like a highlight of my career."

Big Sean On Beyonce Comparison:
Kanye West caused a little bit of a stir recently when he said that his protege, G.O.O.D. Music rapper Big Sean, would achieve fame on the level of pop/R&B superstar Beyonce. Instead of running from the odd comparison, Sean says he will embrace it and use it as motivation.
"You know, I am gonna be that. I'm gonna take it there. I'm not gonna make 'Ye eat his words or anything," he says. "I appreciate him being so outspoken and for believing in me so much. It gives me my own confidence."

Beyonce On Being A Role Model

Beyonce On Being A Role Model:
Millions of girls the world over idolize Beyonce, and the superstar doesn't take that position lightly. Despite the fact that some have complained about the sexuality prevalent in many of her videos, Bey is very serious about being a role model.
"Being a role model is something that I’ve always been," Beyonce said in an interview. "It’s not something I became, it’s something I was already because I had a younger sister and I believe that being a role model is something every woman is even if you don’t realize it. There’s always someone watching you, someone that admires you and I believe we help each other so much and I don’t take being a role model lightly."
Beyonce also discussed why her new album is called simply 4.
"To be honest with you, my fans actually suggested the number four as the title. I saw for the past year that they kind of claimed it. They just said “were waiting for ‘4’, we’re waiting for ‘4’” and I said “Alright fans, I think you’re right.”

Beyonce On Beyonce

Beyonce On Beyonce:
Beyonce recently opened up about...well...herself...in a series of short interviews asked by designers Tom Ford, Riccardo Tisci, Stefano Pilati and Gareth Pugh. She shared quite a bit about her mindset and view of herself.
"I used to be very shy. I don’t think I’m shy any more," Beyonce told Tom Ford. "I get really uncomfortable when I’m not performing on the stage or on a photo shoot and have too many people looking at me expecting a performance. It make me kind of shut down and become shy. I’m happier to talk to people and try to learn something from them. I’m better at one-on-one conversations. I do become shy and a bit intimidated when it’s a large group of people, I definitely retreat. At a big dinner I just hope that no one expects anything from me. I wish I’d disappear."

Jada Pinkett Smith On Parenthood

Jada Pinkett Smith On Parenthood:
Jada Pinkett Smith addressed the criticism of she and her husband, actor Will Smith, and the fact that their two youngest children, actor Jadan and singer Willow, have become pint-size celebrities in their own right. Jada stressed that she and Will aren't harming their kids by allowing them to pursue their dreams under the glare of the spotlight.
“There are so many other kids you can worry about," Jada told Uptown magazine. "My kids? They’re going to be all right. I get why people would criticize. But people need to know that Will and I would never put our children in a situation that would bring them detriment, my kids have no idea how I grew up, Even in knowing my story, they couldn’t know what that means. They have no RE-ALI-TY. None."
"My feeling is, my kids need to have challenges," she continued. "In a safe way. If I survived everything that I survived in Baltimore and Will survived everything he survived in Philly, these kids surely can survive the Hollywood game."
"With so many heavyweights surrounding them—from Beyoncé and Jay-Z to Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith to Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony—if they can fail in a circle like that, then they weren’t going to win in the first place," she added. "All I want for Trey (Will’s oldest son from his first marriage), Jaden, and Willow is happiness."

"My makeup artist showed me the performance of Lorella Cuccarini a year ago, and it inspired me so much," Beyonce says. "I then met with the talented people who worked on it. It makes me smile to think back to myself when I did ‘Dreamgirls’ with Beyonce. I did see all these women in Hollywood, all very slim and I thought, ‘Wow, these ladies are very into themselves.’ I loved that I stood out in a room. You knew when you saw this woman it was Jennifer Hudson.”

Jay-Z was recently interviewed by his longtime friend, actress Gwyneth Paltrow. In a convo for the GOOP Newsletter, Gwyneth told Hov he was the coolest man on earth and asked "how the f" he got that way. Jay explained exactly what makes him seem that way.
"I'm around great women, starting with my mom," Jay said. "Women keep men cool. The hotter the chick the cooler the guy--that sounds like a really bad rap line!"
A certain pop diva will no doubt be happy to hear that answer.
