Soulja Boy & Diamond Split?

Soulja Boy & Diamond Split?
Rappers Soulja Boy and Diamond (formerly of Crime Mob) have apparently called it quits. After a somewhat controversial romance that saw the mother of Diamond's ex, Lil Scrappy, blasting her in media interviews, the Least Interesting Couple In Hip Hop are no more.
Soulja Boy confirmed it via Twitter.
"Ahhhh. VIBE's gona have all the exclusives," Soulja Boy tweeted. "Me and Diamond--she's a good person, she's a good friend. But I ain't with nobody. I wish her the best with everything she got goin on."

Rick Ross' Face Tattoo

Rick Ross' Face Tattoo
In what is probably one of the worst fads in the history of hip hop--yet another rapper has joined the ranks of the facially-tattooed. None other than Miami's own Rick Ross has gotten "Cazal" on the left side of his face.
That's the popular eyewear company, for those unfamiliar.
Ross reportedly has a large vintage Cazal collection; which of course makes getting it tattooed on his face completely understandable.
Yung LA, Diamond and Gucci Mane are among the rappers who previously got face tattoos earlier this year.

Diamond On Soulja Boy

Diamond On Soulja Boy:
Diamond (formerly of Crime Mob) sat down with Dr. Jay and shared her feelings for her new boyfriend, fellow rapper Soulja Boy. She also admitted that they predicted that there would be a backlash against them being together.
"We've been friends for awhile. He's always been real sweet, real manner-able guy, he's very, very smart, intelligent," Diamond said. "I learn from him and that's what I look for when I date a guy. I like to learn, teach me. Sometimes guys want to compete. And that was one of the key things that captured my attention about him."
Since their relationship became public, fans, Diamond's ex-fiance Lil Scrappy and even Scrappy's Mom have offered their opinions on the couple.
"We talked about [the backlash], but we didn't know it was going to be that big," Diamond admitted.

Yes, Diamond & Soulja Boy Are Dating

Yes, Diamond & Soulja Boy Are Dating
After a few days of controversy surrounding a photo of them together, Atlanta rappers Soulja Boy and Diamond are confirming that they are, indeed, an item. The duo went on Dirty Boyz radio to address all of the speculation following the photo, which led to Lil Scrappy's mother, launching into a hateful rant against Diamond. Scrappy is Diamond's ex-fiancee.
from "Eh man, you already know how that go," Soulja Boy said. "What's another man's trash is another man's treasure. Me and shorty rocking, straight like that. [Are me and Diamond a couple now?] Yup, straight up...I ain't got no reason to lie to y'all. Y'all been knowing me ever since I first came out, you know what I mean?" "What's happening," Diamond chimed in. "Yeah, it's official. Y'all know what's up. [laughs] The long way."

Lil Scrappy's Mom Disses Diamond

Lil Scrappy's Mom Disses Diamond
Lil Scrappy's Mom has gone ballistic over photos of Scrappy's EX-fiancee Diamond booed up with Soulja Boy. Scrappy didn't have anything but polite things to say about Diamond and her new boyfriend, but his Mom called into Atlanta's Hot 107.9 to blast the former Crime Mob femcee.
"Okay, the b*tch done got breast implants and booty shots, the b*tch ain’t real, first of all," said 'Mama D.' "Secondly, Soulja Boy is gonna come behind him anyway. So at the end of the day, Scrappy is chilling, he’s fine, he’s the Prince of the South and he got it good. He’s living good and he ain’t thinking about that b*tch…dirty, low-down b*tch."
Wow. But wait--there's more...
"She lied like a motherf**ka! Called Scrappy back, talking about 'I was just hanging out with him,'" Mama D added. "Wooooooo! I wanna put my hand around that b*tch throat. I want you to go on the radio and say 'Mama D is angry because you don’t mess with Mama D son.' But you know what, ladies and gentlemen? Her son is doing good. The Prince of the South is still the reigning prince because he’s chill like that, he’s gonna keep it pimpin.'"
"It’s f’d up how she did it--low down dirty b*tch," Mama continued. "She’s lucky I don’t take [inaudible] and pimp her a**. She gonna give it up like that, she might as well get some money for it hoe. Scrappy, Mama D, we gonna keep it G, ya heard me? Let the radio know that Scrappy the Prince of the South is still the reigning Prince and he’s chilling on South Beach, okay? With a beautiful lady. He ain’t stunting that sh*t there, he’s all good."

50 Cent On Face Tats

50 Cent On Face Tats
50 Cent recently shared his views on the current face tattoo fad that seems to be catching fire in hip hop. Gucci Mane, Yung LA and Diamond of Crime Mob have all gotten face art in recent months. To 50, it seems to be a poor long-term decision when considering what many artists aspire to accomplish outside of music.
“That’s the craziest thing," 50 told VIBE. "Not necessarily Gucci, but to tattoo your face says that there’s not a possibility that you can actually walk into a legitimate establishment without makeup covering your face every day. That does not work. It creates a separation. It says, “I’m an artist.” That’s it. That’s the statement you make when you go and tattoo your face…But know that the public will not have interest in you as an artist for life. You have to be phenomenal."
"Talk to the best that do it and they will tell you that it will take more than you being an artist," he continued. "It takes marketing, maneuvering to generate for that long. When you got 40-year-old rappers in the game, those guys have maneuvered and survived.”

Diamond Joins Face Tat Movement

Diamond Joins Face Tat Movement
Yet another rapper has gotten a silly tattoo on their face. Diamond, formerly of Crime Mob, has gotten a large bullet inked onto the side of her face. She joins Gucci Mane (ice cream cone) and Yung LA (a large duck, now a large 'LA' logo) in the ever-growing list of Atlanta rap stars with borderline-ridiculous face art. All three of them got the tattoos in the past three months.
"IN LIFE: You only get ONE SHOT!!!!!! Remember dat," Diamond tweeted while she was getting inked.
This is one fad that needs to end, like...yesterday.
