Wale Wants To Talk To Lady Gaga

Wale Wants To Talk To Lady Gaga
Wale still has love for Lady Gaga. But he'd like to pick the brain of one of the most famous artists in the world; the D.C. rapper says it would be cool to talk to her about the business and how she sees it from her level.
But he says he has friends that are just impressed that they did a song together.
"My n*ggas always talk about that sh*t, especially the most muthaf*ckin' streets n*ggas," Wale explained in an interview. "They be like, 'You know you did a song with Lady Gaga, a real song.' It's cool, it's probably something that I'll probably use later to brag about. It's not much of an accolade if I work with somebody. I just wanna be respected for what I do...I don't even know if she talk to rappers -- It'd be cool to have a friend that was that famous and then she could tell me the weird sh*t that goes when you doing shows for a million dollars. I wanna know all the weird sh*t that goes on behind them contracts."

Lady Gaga Producer Sued

Lady Gaga Producer Sued
Lady Gaga's producer Rob Fusari and his company Rob Fusari Productions are being sued by veteran hip hop producer Calvin Gaines who claims that hasn't received royalties from several of the pop star's hits.
Gaines has filed a $1,000,000 dollar lawsuit in United States District Court, Southern District of New York. Gaines says he was cheated out of royalties for contributing to Lady Gaga's hit single's "Paparazzi," "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich" and "Disco Heaven."
Gaines and Fusari wrote songs as a duo, including the three songs in question for Lady Gaga. Gaines claims he is 20% owner of the copyrights in the songs, but Fusari allegedly transferred Gaines' interests in the compositions to Sony/ATV songs.
Lady Gaga's smash album The Fame has been certified gold, platinum or multi-platinum in 26 countries.

Lil Wayne Makes Forbes' "Under 30" List

Lil Wayne Makes Forbes' ''Under 30'' List
Rapper Lil Wayne managed to make Forbes’ list of “Best-Paid Celebrities Under 30,” despite spending the majority of 2010 behind bars on a weapons charge. The magazine's list looked at the money younger celebrities made between May 2010 and May 2011 and featured celebs from music, movies and sports.
Lil Wayne was estimated to have made about $15 million in the past year.
Katy Perry, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, LeBron James, and Beyoncé Knowles were also among the celebrities that made the list. Lady Gaga tops the list. The pop superstar made $90 million primarily due to album sales, her "Monster Ball" Tour, and endorsements.

Wale On Lady Gaga

Wale On Lady Gaga:
Wale pointed out the fact that he played an 'integral' role in the emergence of Lady Gaga. Having had the eccentric pop superstar on his Attention Deficit album in 2009, Wale said he deserves a little more credit for helping to launch the phenomenon.
"I made her whole career," Wale jokingly said in an interview. "It's one of those things; it's a moment that I hold near and dear to me, 'cause she's probably the most famous person in this generation right now. I don't think she'd probably ever get on a rap record again."

Mechanical Animal: Lady Gaga's Insane Album Cover Is the Best Part of 'Born This Way'

Steppenwolf's "Born to Be Wild" is very closely associated with the motorcycle road movie Easy Rider. That's the primary clue we're working with today in our investigation into why Lady Gaga decided to make her Born This Way album cover a strange mix of a calendar hanging in a mechanic's office crossed with the snarling jaguar on thecover of Roxy Music's For Your Pleasure. (Unless she's payinghomage to Judas Priest, repping for the small segment of the population that emerged from the birth canal with handlebars, or making a really bold statement about other pop stars being mechanical.)
Evidently some of Gaga's fans don't care for the cover, but it's our favorite part of Born This Way yet by a long shot. Little Monsters are so upset, there's actually a theory circulating that Gaga is betraying her fans three times (and we thought Kanye West had a Jesus Complex!), and that the cover she tweeted is a fake.
Here are their primary complaints:
It Looks Like it Cost $2 and a Photoshop Intern to Make: "Love you Gaga-always will but this album cover is just........cheap looking," tweeted Cristink3. "Gaga I really love u but this cover is awful, very mediocre and unprofessional...I'm in shock. Please do not dissapoint your fans," added Iotiprego.
It Lacks a Certain... Je Ne Sais Quoi: "wait, is this serious? with all due respect, i expected something ... classier?" complained Cglink. "I think this looks like random fan ar," Alan_PB wrote.
It Doesn't Seem to Relate to the Music: "Gaga I'm so disappointed ! I love u but this cover is not pop, rock or even 70's metal. It sucks. :S," sniffed Thisislordl. "No graphic designer in their right mind would approve of such an atrocious font, and not only that, It has an awful metallic- looking bevel and emboss! It is terrible," wrote bleakc.
Gaga tweeted the artwork with a note that referenced a "highway unicorn" and implored fans to "'get your hot rods ready to rumble." Make of that what you will. But the good news is plenty of people are making something out of that ludicrously incredible album cover, likeRolling Stone did when Adam Lambert released his similarly wackadoo For Your Entertainment artwork. Gawker put together a small gallery of great Born This Way parodies, and we highly recommend you check that out (Jessica Simpson meets the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile!).

Snoop Dogg Scared of Lady Gaga?

Snoop Dogg Scared of Lady Gaga?
Snoop Dogg has a reputation as a ladies' man, but there's one pop star he wouldn't be in a rush to get hot 'n heavy with. The rap superstar recently shared his thoughts on Lady Gaga, and Snoop praised her creativity and musicianship--but admitted that he's a little scared of her 'lady parts.'
"She’s weird as f**k," Snoop said to BlackBook. "Who knows, she might have a snake or a knife in her p***y if you try to get some from her. I don’t judge Lady GaGa. She makes good s**t, not like a lot of other garbage being repeated."
The rapper has expressed a desire to work with Gaga in the past.

Lady Gaga Blasts Lip Syncers

Lady Gaga Blasts Lip Syncers
In a recent show, Lady Gaga took a few swipes at several of her fellow pop stars. Of course, Gaga didn't name names, but she made clear her disdain for lip-syncers. And, in case you haven't noticed, many of today's dance-pop superstars pantomime on stage while gyrating for their fans' delight.
"I never lip sync, I never have lip synced and I never will," Gaga said defiantly. "And as long as you’re paying money to buy a ticket to see my show, I’m not gonna waste your God damn time watching some bitch lip sync or wave through an HBO special."
