ESPN commissioned rapper J. Cole to revamp the theme song for their popular “Baseball Tonight” highlight show. This comes on the heels of the premiere of a new Powerade commercial featuring NBA MVP and Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose and J. Cole's music.
“I had the honor and the privilege of remaking the legendary theme song…it’s a classic,” J. Cole shared. “The old one was more like Mozart. This is more like Lil Jon.”
The Roc Nation star is receiving tremendous publicity for the theme, which is only helping to fuel anticipation for his debut album to be released later this year.
