Derick "D-Dot" Angelettie explained his issue with fellow hip hop producer Kanye West. D-Dot says that he respects West's talents, but he believes that Kanye has no loyalty. D-Dot (aka The Madd Rapper) says that West has never acknowledged the role he played in his early career.
"The one song he didn't get credit for was a Nas song we produced and the only reason that happened is because we did the record in 1998 and I don't think that sh*t came out 'til the 2000s," he said. "By then neither one of us dealt with Columbia [Records] so they didn't call us with the credits. I always knew he was gonna be genius. That's why I hooked up with him, but as far as his respect factor, as far his loyalty factor, he sucks."
