Eminem's 8 Mile Style LLC is suing Audi AG. Em's brand filed a lawsuit against the car company claiming they are using the rapper's hit song "Lose Yourself" illegally in a new commercial.
8 Mile Style filed a lawsuit in Hamburg Regional Court in Germany. "Lose Yourself" is the same song that featured in the popular Chrysler 200 ad that debuted during the Super Bowl.
“We believe Audi not only used 'Lose Yourself' to sell their product without permission, but their spot actually feels inspired by elements of Chrysler’s commercial campaign,” Eminem's lawyer Joel Martin said.
