50 Cent Squashes Lil Kim Rumors

50 Cent Squashes Lil Kim Rumors
Despite Lil Kim's appearance onstage alongside 50 Cent at Birthday Bash in Atlanta this year, 50 is denying reports that the Queen Bee is officially signed with his label and crew.
"She's not actually signed to G-Unit," 50 explained in an interview. "We didn't even have discussions about that. I heard it, I heard people say it too. It was just like, there was no reason to give confirmation for something that didn't actually happen at all."
"Like, when people say Shawty Lo is signed to G-Unit, they think that he's actually signed an artist deal directly to G-Unit when the project that we're doing is a lot bigger," 50 added. "It's a joint venture."

Lil Kim On G-Unit?

Lil Kim On G-Unit?
At Atlanta's Birthday Bash, Shawty Lo, the newest G-Unit soldier, took the stage and brought out a special guest. Lil Kim joined Lo, and gave her 'blessing' on Lo joining G-Unit. In a surprise, the Queen Bee also hinted that she herself is now affiliated with G-Unit.
"If ya'll don't know, this my boy right here. G-Unit South, that's where it's at," proclaimed Kim. "And I'm family too, down with the G-Unit camp. We got surprises for ya'll."
So G-Unit can now claim the dude from D4L, the chick that USED to sell records in the mid-90s and some guy from "Jersey Shore" as part of their roster.

Eve Has Advice For Lil Kim

Eve Has Advice For Lil Kim
Rapper Eve has some advice for her fellow 90s rap veteran femcee Lil Kim. The Philly native thinks Kim should stop with the melodramatics and the childish feuding with Nicki Minaj and get back to making great music. To Eve, the entire situation paints Kim in a negative light.
"I need her to stop. If I was Kim's friend, I'd be like, yo. Because she's Kim, period," Eve said in an interview. "So she never has to feed. She shouldn't. It's bad. It's not a good look. If I was her friend, I'd tell her, yo, just come back bigger and better. The best way to get at people is to do you better than you've ever done you. So that's it...I love it."
"You know, it's definitely a nice group of females that's out representing, but because I come from hip-hop, I need more females in hip-hop," she continued. "Nicki definitely is holding the flag down, and a lot of people be wanting me to hate just because that's how girls supposed to do in hip-hop, but I'm loving everything she does. But we need more females, man. There's too much testosterone in the hip-hop game."

Lil Kim vs. Keyshia Cole

Lil Kim vs. Keyshia Cole
Lil Kim just refuses to stop. The one-time hitmaking rapper has seemingly made a career out of messy 'beefs' with younger stars and seems to want to draw attention to herself for any and everything except her music. Now, Kimberly is taking on Keyshia Cole. Why? Because Keyshia dared to do a song with Kim's sworn enemy, the almost-ten-years-younger Nicki Minaj. Keyshia defended herself against Kim's charges of 'disloyalty' via Twitter.
"@LilKim all I'm saying is don't have everyone thinking I was disloyal as a "friends" cause we were never that and u know it. No disrespect," Keyshia told Kim after repeated jabs from the rapper. ""I don't have beef with anyone. I'm done. I feel the way I feel about friendship and loyalty. I ain't never been fake. All I'm saying."
"U got that right. We are not friends," Kim tweeted to Keyshia. "The same way U take friendship seriously i take loyalty serious. The whole world has seen me extend my hand to u over and over again. Only someone who's trying to build a sincere relationship does shows 4 free & supports. u did not pay me a dime 4 none of that. That warrants some type of loyalty and respect."
"Friend or no friend i would have never let anybody disrespect u on my record," Kim continued. "But i can't expect everyone to be as real as i am.At the end of the day karma is as real as i am and it's coming to get u. oh wait...if it hasnt got u already...My love & loyalty to u got u a hit, ur friendship with ur friend got u a flop. looks like u need to choose ur friends more wisely dont u think? #teamlilkim LEGGGGOOOO."
"Loyalty and respect has nothing to do with friendship...BOOM. Loyalty and respect is about returning a kindness," the supposed 'Queen' continued. "Have you ever came out and supported me at my shows? i dont think so. Yes it was a good look for me but it was a great look for u. At the end of the day it was a hit on YOUR album. Sticking 2 the situation. Again I would have never let anyone disrespect U on my song. That's loyalty & respect. End of story."

Lil Kim's Twitter Rant

Lil Kim's Twitter Rant
Just when it seemed the Lil Kim/Nicki Minaj beef had gone quiet, the death of Osama Bin Laden stirred the pot.
You read that right...
After the announced killing of Osama Bin Laden, a tweet was posted, allegedly re-tweeted from Young Money starlet Minaj. The mysterious tweet read: "Lil Kim U Next." But it was never confirmed that the tweet actually originated with Nicki Minaj. Nonetheless, Lil Kim took the opportunity to go on a Twitter tirade about Nicki.
"I would never name her "S*itty Garbaj"!!! My dog is way prettier than that b*tch!!!," Kim tweeted. "What type of coward lame a** b*tch tweets some sh*t and then deletes it? REAL b*tches stand by what they say BOZO..."
"You cheap stocking cap glued $10 bag hair wig wearing b*tch. Get a lace front!!! FYI Indian hair don't come in green B*TCH..." Kim ranted. "You free lunch eating b*tch...WHAT!!!"

Cam'ron Ghostwrote "Crush On You?"

Cam'ron Ghostwrote ''Crush On You?''
Rapper Cam'ron recently revealed that he had a hand in penning Lil Kim's 1997 smash "Crush On You." Specifically, Cam says that he ghostwrote Lil Cease's lines for the song and was paid to do so by Ma$e. Ma$e, incidentally, had been paid by Lance "Un" Rivera, Kim's labelhead at the time, to do some ghostwriting.
"What happened was, Un gave Mase $30,000 to write five songs for Lil Cease at that time and Ma$e gave me $5,000 of the 30 to write one or two of the songs," he said. "I wrote the 'Crush on You' song and they ended up keeping it for Lil Kim album but it was really for Lil Cease. The original 'Crush on You' is all Lil Cease, Lil Kim isn't even on the record."

Questlove On Kim/Nicki

Questlove On Kim/Nicki:
Roots drummer Questlove offered a unique take on the ongoing Lil Kim/Nicki Minaj feud. Just after a snippet of Nicki's Kim-dissing track "Tragedy" hit the web, Quest took to Twitter to share a different perspective on the bad blood between the boss ladies.
"It's my personal belief that dissing/verbal (well & actual) pugilism is the most intense form of LOVE," Quest tweeted. "Where your intent is to affect/infect em to the highest degree. i know that sounds contradictory (displaying harsh actions as a sign of affection) but if you see this in somewhat of a Shakespearean (or maybe the hero/sidekick narrative of The Incredibles) one can only conclude that if Nik REALLY hated Kim...... she would do the most painful act of hate....which i pretty much know from experience (as loved and hated) the surefire slow burning-last-scene-in-kill-bill-way-to get under ones skin....is to act like they never existed."

Lil Kim Hosts Release Party Rapper's Mixtape, However, Is Yet-To-Be Released

Lil Kim Hosts Release Party
Lil Kim held a big soiree in New York City last night (March 13) at Webster Hall. The Queen Bee stepped out in full cowgirl gear for her "Black Friday" release party. Which brings to mind a handful of pressing questions:
Question #1:
When did artists start having release parties for mixtapes?
Question #2:
Why would you have a release party for a mixtape that was 'released' a month ago?
Question #3:
Has anyone even gotten their copy of "Black Friday" yet?
It all seems kinda weird--but not as weird as that hairdo and outfit. Doesn't seem like a lot of A-listers were in attendance, either. Kim is embarrassing herself with this "Black Friday" nonsense.
Is anyone keeping score on Lil Kim vs. Nicki? Cuz it seems like Nicki is winning.

Big Sean Appreciates Lil Kim's Praises She's Definitely A Legend In My Eyes

Big Sean Appreciates Lil Kim's Praises
After learning that Lil Kim endorsed him in a recent interview, G.O.O.D. Music's Big Sean voiced his appreciation and his desire to work with the Queen Bee.
"Word? D*mn, she said that? Sh*t. That's crazy. Nobody ever told me that," Sean said in an interview. "She's definitely a legend in my eyes. I came up on the Bad Boy era with Biggie and Ma$e and her. I would definitely love to work with her and she's the sh*t, man. That's crazy. I'm speechless, for real...I'm really listening to a lot of older stuff too like Notorious B.I.G., that whole Bad Boy sh*t and 'Pac...That's so f*cking dope, that Lil' Kim sh*t. You've got to get me her contact so I can call her."
Last month, Kim mentioned Sean and Wiz Khalifa as two artists she was currently into.
"I'm really loving Wiz Khalifa. I like him a lot. I think he's a dope artist," Kim told Rap Up. "And also another up-and-coming artist, his name is Big Sean. I think he's hot."

Lil Kim Talks Biggie & 2Pac

Lil Kim Talks Biggie & 2Pac
Hip hop conspiracy theorists have been trying to turn the deaths of 2Pac and the Notorious B.I.G. into some kind of Area 51, 'Who shot JFK?'-style CIA cover-up and it looks like Lil Kim is one of them. Kim recently claimed in an interview that she thought Pac and Biggie were 'too powerful' and the government just had to stop it.
"I will say this though, I will say that I always felt like Biggie and Tupac's deaths were bigger than how they tried to make it out to believe it to be," Kim explained in an interview. "It's bigger than [former Death Row Records owner] Suge Knight being involved. I think it was even over his head. Them two were very powerful guys. They both could have ran for mayor just like Arnold Schwarzenegger and probably [have] won. You know, I think the government was looking at it like, 'We could not have these two hood dudes with this much power running for mayor and something like that and winning.' They would have lost control, I think. I think it was way deeper than what people would like it to be."
Please.
Rap fans need to stop acting like Pac and Big were Martin and Malcolm. And Arnold Schwarzenegger became the governor, Kim, not the mayor.

Lil Kim Addresses Mixtape Delays

Lil Kim Addresses Mixtape Delays
For all of the barking Lil Kim has done, you would think she would have a little bit better system in place. The rap star has yet to deliver the "Black Friday" mixtape to her fans, and claims that the delay is due to packaging. Appearing on Ustream for the first time, Kim thanked the fans for supporting her and said the mixtape, which was made available to order on February 14--over two weeks ago, is on the way.
“I know there’s [been] a delay with the mixtape, but it’s gonna be well worth the wait so just know I love you and everything I do I always make sure that it’s extra special no matter how long it takes…Hit me up when you got the mixtape,” Lil Kim explained.
“Packing orders all night for you guys,” Lil Kim tweeted last night (March 3.)
Isn't this 2011, can't people get music at the click of a button? So why is 'mailing' and 'packaging' even an issue? Post that joint on some paid downloads site and let the people hear it, Kim.

Lil Kim Still Mad At Diddy

Lil Kim Still Mad At Diddy
Lil Kim continues to milk her pseudo-beef for all its worth.
The 'Queen Bee' recently reiterated her current contempt for former cohort Sean "Diddy" Combs. Kim is apparently stilled miffed that Diddy didn't defend her honor against her arch-nemesis Nicki Minaj.
"I'm bothered by his actions, because I rolled with Puffy to the bitter end, and still would have rolled with him," Kim explained in an interview. "Puffy never came to see me in prison, not one time. He didn't write me a letter. He didn't say, 'Here's a number for Kim to call,' not one time. The only problem I had with Puffy is that you see this girl [Nicki Minaj] taking shots at me...even on your own record she took a shot at me...and you didn't stop that? If this was me years ago, he would have been doing everything if it was somebody he was working with or had a relationship with and he got money with or whatever; he would be like, 'That can't go out!'"
She made one cheap-looking video, 'released' a mixtape that she made her fans pay for--and that they have yet to receive, almost a month later--and all she seems to talk about these days is how her 'rival' dissed her and how her former buddy Diddy 'betrayed' her.
Anybody bored with Kim's routine yet?

Lil Kim Squashes Junior Mafia Reunion

Lil Kim Squashes Junior Mafia Reunion
The public and media have been skeptical as to Lil Kim's sincerity regarding her 'beef' with Young Money starlet Nicki MInaj, but 'The Queen Bee' was recently asked about a much older feud and Kim was direct and to the point with her contempt. MTV's Sway asked Kim if she would ever consider reuniting with rapper Lil Cease and her former Junior M.A.F.I.A. cohorts. Kim's answer was blunt and unforgiving:
"No. Next question."
Kim's relationship with Junior M.A.F.I.A. soured after she accused many of them of turning on her after she was indicted for perjury and subsequently sentenced to prison after lying to a grand jury about her knowledge of a 2001 shooting involving members of the group. She and Cease's relationship appears to be irreparable.
"At this point I would say never," stated Kim. "Only God directs my life so I can't say if I would ever speak to him in the future. But at this point, no. I have not seen a single change and then I've seen a bunch of talk and a bunch of contradictions, so no."

Foxy Brown Gives Lil Kim Free Advice

Foxy Brown Gives Lil Kim Free Advice
Despite reports of an embarrassingly drunk Foxy Brown being kicked out of a fashion party in New York City last week, the femcee was coherent enough to recently share her thoughts (again) on the one-sided Nicki Minaj/Lil Kim beef. Foxy seems to conveniently forget that she recently recorded a Lil Kim diss track that got no attention, instead now opting to play the role of mature adult.
"Had [Kim] let the people say, 'Oh [Nicki], you're trying to be Kim, you're a fake Kim,' then it doesn't come directly from her," Foxy explained in an interview with Billboard. "But when you're using that as a platform to bring your new album out, that's like, 'Oh my God, wait a minute.' I don't condone it at all; I don't think it's cute. Nicki clearly drew from both Kim and me. And she hasn't been disrespectful to me in any way -- I haven't heard her be disrespectful toward anybody else but Kim."
"And at some point, it's like, 'O.K., Kim, you've had a problem with Foxy, you've had a problem with Nicki, you've had a problem with Faith [Evans], with Charli [Baltimore], with everybody,'" Foxy continued. "It's like, enough already. I choose to stay out of it. Put out great music, and that's that."
