Donald Trump Praises Mac Miller

Former presidential also-ran Donald Trump is singing the praises of rapper Mac Miller. Miller's song "Donald Trump" has passed the 20 million views mark on YouTube, and "The Donald" has nothing but positive things to say about the emcee.

“A lot of people are calling me about the Mac Miller rap song," Trump says. "Now, it’s named ‘Donald Trump.’ Maybe you should pay me a lot of money, but it just did over 20 million people, tuning into Mac Miller. So in one way, I’m proud of him. I haven’t actually seen the language, it’s a little hard to understand on the song itself. Probably, it’s not the cleanest language you’ve ever heard, but this kid is the new Eminem."

"Everybody says he’s fantastic," Trump added. "Let’s see what it is. But the ‘Donald Trump’ song just hit over 20 million, that’s not so bad. I’m very proud of him.”

He may be a shrewd businessman known for his blatant honesty, but these days Donald Trump should learn how to filter some of the garbage spewing from his mouth, especially if he’s going to make ignorant statements such as his latest: “I have a great relationship with the blacks. I've always had a great relationship with the blacks.”

For someone who built their career on forging relationships, we’re left wondering what the hell Donald was thinking when he let this little nugget slip out his mouth in a recent interview with Talk 1300 AM radio in New York. In fact, two questions immediately come to mind: one, why do you feel the need to lump black people together, and two, what makes you so sure that “The Blacks” will vote for you if you decide to run for presidency, especially when you’re making these kinds of statements?

Donald Trump is not happy with Rihanna. Trump says he had agreed to pay Rihanna $500,000 to sing at a cancer fund-raiser at Mar-a-Lago, his private resort in Palm Beach, Fla., on Feb. 19, but she canceled at the last minute, saying she was sick, and was told by her doctors not to fly. But yet she was able to perform at the NBA All Star Game halftime show.

Trump told the Palm Beach Post:

“I thought [Rihanna bailing] was insulting to everyone,” Trump, 64, told the Palm Beach Post. “But for Rihanna to go to the [NBA] All-Star game and perform after she told us she was sick, that is just a lack of respect.”

But, nothing was missed. Jennifer’s a beautiful girl. She came on her day off even though she performs almost every night. She is an unbelievable talent, and her voice is better.”
