Rapper Young Jeezy celebrated the sixth anniversary of his debut solo album Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101 in New York City last night (July 25) at the Highline Ballroom.
The album cemented Jeezy's star power after his departure from Boyz N the Hood and became an unexpected smash. To commemorate the anniversary, Jeezy performed the album in its entirety at the Highline Ballroom to an enthusiastic crowd.
The album was released on July 25th, 2006 and featured strong singles like the anthem "Go Crazy" and the Akon-assisted "Soul Survivor." It has been certified platinum by the RIAA.
